Founded in 1882, the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies provides property and casualty insurance for personal and commercial customers worldwide through 8,500 independent agents and brokers. Chubb’s global network includes branches and affiliates throughout North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia.

Since 1986 Chubb has operated in Japan as a branch of the Federal Insurance Company, a wholly owned member insurer of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. Our broad array of insurance products and related services is geared to the needs of our Japanese customers, whether their requirements be local or global.

The Board Director Training Institute (BDTI) is a "public interest" nonprofit in Japan dedicated to training about directorship, corporate governance, and related management techniques. It is certified by the Japanese government to conduct these activities as a regulated nonprofit.
