Ms. Doi graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri (USA), and a JD degree from UCLA School of Law, after which she worked as a business and insurance litigation law firm associate for 7 years.  Since 1997, she has worked as an in-house counsel for financial services companies in Japan. She specializes in legal, regulatory and trade issues in insurance, custody banking and trust services, back and middle office outsourcing, human resources, litigation and claims management, corporate governance, asset management, FX and ISDA, securities business lines in Asia Pacific region (Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, People`s Republic of China, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand). In 2009, she was a finalist for International Law Office’s Regulatory (Financial Services) Global Counsel Awards.
