BDTI To Start Section on “ESG and Responsible Investment”

As you can see from the carefully hidden little section at the lower right of the Discussion Forum page, BDTI is preparing a section on ESG and responsible investment. (Please note that his is still a work in progress; so any ideas and additional information are welcome, as longas you help do the work tosummarize, organize etc., as this is a user-generated contents site….)

Eventually the Japanese Discussion Forum will have more information and documents – this is Japan after all, and many reports ARE written in Japanese! – but even based onour Englishcontent you can get an idea of the kind of information we will be trying to disseminate, with the purpose of raising the general level of understanding about what ESG integration is all about, its benefits, and how companies are analyzed from ESG perspectives by various information providers.

Insubsequent entries, we wil introduce severalreports in English, courtesy of Messrs. Miyai and Nakajima ofNikko Financial Intelligence, that show that ESG concepts are starting to take root in Japan.

Thanks in advance for your support.
