After graduating from the School of Commerce at Waseda University, Mr. Hiraizumi first joined PHP Institute, Inc. , and then in 1984 entered Kajima Corporation. In 1994, he was promoted to Deputy Manager of the Planning Department, a part of the Marketing Division in the Construction Group. He was seconded to the Policy Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance to serve as a Principal Economist in 2005. After returning to Kajima in 2007, he was promoted to the role of Manager in the Asset Management Division of the Real Estate Development Group. Since 2009, he has served as a full-time Advisor at Avant Associates, Inc.
