I am particularly interested in the studies described in The Geography of Thought: How Asians and Westerners Think Differently… And Why(Free Press, 2003), a book by Professor Richard Nisbett of the University of Michigan.

Mapping Organizational Integrity, and “Leading with Integrity”

In 2004 the UN had an outside consultant conduct an anonymous survey of its organizational integrity. The report is eye-opening in the sense that it confirms clearly that transparency, process, values, reporting etc. are important, but by far the most important thing is the tone at the top: ethical leadership that is setby goodexample, andfrom leadersbeing heldaccountable.
